11/05/02 - The Australian Federal Government have now accepted Elf BFK07 as meeting the latest fuel specifications as laid down in the fuel standard petrol determination. Specs: 2001 made under the fuel quality standards act of 2000.
Racing:
An ideal fuel for all motorbike racing engines which experience fustrations of poor/consistent quality pump fuel. This is the legal unleaded racing alternative.
- Note: BFK07 = Benzene Free Fuel
- This fuel contains no Benzene, no Aromatic compounds
- No sulphur no Benzene precursors
- Carbon monoxide emissions are almost halved
- It is designed as a safe easy to tune fuel.
- Ideal for junior events where health should be considered.
Due to the low density of this fuel jetting changes are recommended.
Normally both 2 stroke & 4 stroke engines need enriching.
