Due to the high cost and limited supply of the Elf MITS fuels, we are excited to report that Elf France has provided us with an alternative.
Moto GP is a suitable race bike fuel with very similar characteristics to the Elf MITS range, it is readily available, is packaged in 20litre and 50litre drums and costs up to $6.00 per litre less!.
Local testing of Moto GP with some of Australia's top tuners have found this product performs well beyond pump fuel and AVGAS and similar results to the Elf MITS range.
The specifications of Elf Moto GP are:
Unleaded racing fuel for 2 and 4 stroke engines
RON: 101.6
MON: 89.4
Oxygen Content: 2.6%
Density: 0.763
Benzene: 0.05%
This fuel contains greater than 1% MTBE and isNOT to be used in watercraft on fresh lakes and waterways.
