Fuels For Bikes

Elf fuel will increase a bike's torque and horsepower. An added advantage is the engine protection against knock/pinging and detonation.

A high oxygen content is a design function of Elf racing fuels. The results are increased combustion speed and efficiency, resulting in more power and torque.

Brendan Bell of MXTV has been using Elf BFK-07 and Elf Moto GP fuel:
Before I first started using them, I was told that I’d have to re-jet my bike depending on where I was going to ride. This wasn’t the case at all. I’ve never had to re-jet the bike, and have ridden in areas raging from the high country to motocross tracks by the sea with no problems at all.

Unlike Australian "Pump" fuels, Elf fuel does not contain traces of Benzine or Sulpher. Elf fuels are therefore cleaner and fast burning, Brendan discusses the advantages:
Not only has the bike been a lot crisper; but because of the fuel consistency,  my mechanic has said that the bike is running a lot cleaner with no deposits on the piston or barrel.

Most enthusiast simply can't ride as often as they would like. It is not rare for a bike to be left with fuel in its tank for weeks or months at a time. Brendan has noticed a key difference between Elf fuels and pump fuels:
Due to work commitments I unfortunately don’t get to go riding as often as I’d like. I find that no matter how long I leave the fuel in the bike however, it starts first time - every time.
