New Fuel: Elf TurboEvo (replaces Elf Turbomax)

Elf Turbomax has been replaced by Elf TurboEvo.
TurboEvo is an evolution of TurboMax. Elf have redesigned the fuel in order to achieve more performance via higher MON values and higher speed combustion.
The feedback from Europe since change to TurboEvo has been positive, Dyno tests have showed better performance (these tests will be added to this website as soon as they become available).
What if my car is tuned to Elf Turbomax?
Vehicles tuned on Elf Turbomax can run the same mapping with Elf TurboEvo.
Should you choose to remap with Elf TurboEvo, expect to gain more power.
To get an Australian perspective, we have had Steve Glenney’s Targa Tasmania winning Mitsubishi Evo IX and Classic Adelaide Lancia Intregale tuned on TuroboEvo, his tuner suggested that the optimal power was far easier to find than when dyno testing on Turbomax. He believes that the fuel is as easy to tune as WRF. |
