Steve Glenney draws first blood for Elf in 2009

Steve Glenney and Burnie Webb have stunned the rally community with their performance at Targa Wrest Point over the weekend. The pair took a borrowed 1981 Holden Commodore to a commanding three minute victory in the classic division.
On outright rankings the pair would have place Fifth overall!
The rear wheel drive 1981 commodore is tuned to Elf WRF finished well ahead of cars 25 years more advanced such as Porsche, Subaru Sti, Mitsubuishi Evo. These modern cars ran 98 RON pump fuel due to fuel rule changes, Elf 102 RON fuels are banned in the modern divisions of Targa Events. |
